How do I connect Elvie Stride to the Pump with Elvie app?

  1. Start by downloading the Pump with Elvie app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store

  2. Switch Bluetooth on in your phone settings and make sure your pump is charged

  3. Tap on the ‘connect’ button in the app and follow the prompt

  4. You’ll be told to press the Play/ Pause button on the Hub until the side lights flash

  5. When the pump is connected to the app, the side lights will stop flashing

You only need to do this once. The next time you open the app, the pump will automatically connect if your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled.

If the pump gets disconnected during a session, it will try to reconnect automatically.

Is Elvie Stride compatible with my phone?

Elvie Stride is compatible with most recent smartphones that support Bluetooth Low Energy (excluding Huawei).

If you have an iPhone it must be an iPhone 6 or later. You’ll also need to have iOS11 or above. 

If you have an Android phone you’ll need to have version 8 or later.

If your phone is not compatible, it’s not a problem. You can still use your pump by using the controls on the Hub.

Can I use my Elvie Stride without the app?

Yes, it’s possible to use your pump without the app. However, you’ll miss out on some important features. We recommend using the app whenever possible. 

Using the app will allow you to: 

  • Follow step-by-step guides

  • Control your session remotely and pump discreetly

  • View your pumping session history including milk volumes

  • Personalize your intensity settings

You’ll also be notified in the app whenever a free firmware upgrade is available for your Elvie Stride. 

Firmware upgrades keep your pump running smoothly. They also include new features and improvements.

Do I need an account to use all of the app’s features?

Yes, you will need an account to get the most from the app.

Creating an account gives you these benefits:

  • You can upgrade your pump’s firmware to keep it running smoothly and access new features

  • You can use the Pump with Elvie app to control connected pumps and keep track of your pumping sessions

  • You can access help and troubleshooting advice

  • You can use your pump with more than one phone or tablet

  • You can retrieve your pumping data if you lose or replace your device

You can log out of your account at any time. This means your data is kept private if you share your device with other people.

How and why do I personalize my settings using the Pump with Elvie app?

You can use the app to save your preferred intensity settings in Stimulation and Expression modes. If you do this, your pump will always start at your preferred settings.To personalize your intensity settings in the app, make sure your pump is connected and follow the instructions below.For Android usersNavigate to:
