How to assemble and take apart Elvie Catch

Before assembly, ensure the Cup and Skirt are completely dry - if there are water droplets in the groove of the Skirt, tapping the Skirt against a hard surface can help dislodge them.

To assemble, push the Cup into the groove on the Skirt. Make sure it is pushed into place all the way around.

After use, once you've carefully decanted your milk, take Elvie Catch apart by peeling back the Skirt from the Cup.

How to fit Elvie Catch onto your breast

Place Elvie Catch into your nursing bra, so it’s securely held in place. Make sure your nipple is centered in the Nipple Hole. The uniquely shaped silicone skirts can be rotated to find your best fit.
Ensure the Skirt does not get caught beneath the band of your bra to avoid the Cup and Skirt being pulled apart during use.

How to clean and sterilize Elvie Catch

Before you use Elvie Catch for the first time:
Sterilize it in boiling water for five minutes. Elvie Catch is also suitable for microwave, steam, or cold water sterilizing methods.

After first use:
After every use of Elvie Catch wash it with clean, soapy water before rinsing thoroughly. Alternatively, you can place Elvie Catch on the top shelf of the dishwasher. Elvie Catch will need to be sterilized once a day.

How to pour out milk

To pour out milk from Elvie Catch, pour the milk out through the Nipple Hole as shown below. Then, gently peel back the Skirt from the Cup to reach the last couple of drops, before cleaning ready for your next use.

How to dry Elvie Catch

It's important to dry Elvie Catch fully between uses and before storing. To dry Elvie Catch effectively, separate the parts before cleaning and leave separate when drying, with the Skirt face-down. To get the water drops out of the groove on the Skirt, tap the Skirt against a hard surface.

How to store Elvie Catch

Before storing Elvie Catch make sure it has been cleaned with soapy water, rinsed and fully dried. Assemble Elvie Catch before storing.

Can I use milk collected in Elvie Catch to feed my baby?

Yes - milk collected in Elvie Catch can be fed to your baby. However, please note that, as with any product, if the milk is collected over extended periods of time and left at room temperature for too long it should not be fed to your baby.

How long can Elvie Catch be worn for?

We recommend removing your Elvie Catch every 2-3 hours, to allow the nipple to completely air-dry.

Can I sleep or lie down while wearing Elvie Catch?

We do not recommend wearing Elvie Catch while lying down, particularly not while sleeping. Movement during sleep may dislodge the product, and we recommend removing the product every two to three hours to allow the nipple to fully air-dry.
